In developing products and services, quality assurance is any systematic process of checking to see whether a product or service being developed is meeting specified requirements. A quality assurance system is said to increase customer confidence and a company's credibility, to improve work processes and efficiency, and to enable a company to better compete with others.
It helps obtain better control and predictability of existing manufacturing processes. This requires a combination of statistical techniques, engineering knowledge and organizational aspects. Insepection is the most common method for quality control.
Inspection is the most common method of attaining standardisation, uniformity and quality of workmanship. It is the cost art of controlling the product quality after comparison with the established standards and specifications. It is the function of quality control. If the said item does not fall within the zone of acceptability it will be rejected and corrective measure will be applied to see that the items in future conform to specified standards. Inspection is an indispensable tool of modern manufacturing process. It helps to control quality, reduces manufacturing costs, eliminate scrap losses and assignable causes of defective work.
It is also called receiving inspection. It consists of inspecting and checking of all the purchased raw materials (Chemicals, resins, plasticizers, pigment, fabrics etc. ) Our quality team verify the all incoming raw material and ensure that the raw material is ok for further process. If the raw material is not ok then it will be rejected and sent back to the supplier. We have a fully furnished lab for testing and verification of the incoming material, it consists instruments are Brrokfield viscometer, Hydrometer, Grindometer, Karlfisher titrometer, Lab coater, Bar coaters, Ovens, Fabric thread counter, tensile tester etc.
Online Inspection consists of verifying and approval of the first part as per customer specifications, and our internal specifications during the production. It is a key step for ensuring that the raw material is apt according to the internal and external specifications. First part is verified for color, feel, weight, thickness, finish, and all other key requirements before continuing of the production. Tensile tester, crock meter, spectrophotometer, Flexing tester, abrasion tester, thickness gauge, weighing balance are some of the equipments this lab uses for process control.
In process inspection and control consists of setting, verifying and monitoring of predefined process parameters during the production for each type of products, and documenting the same in the system. Have quality assurance methods like mistake or error proofing system in automatic temperature controls, Beta gauge, alarming light system for detection, display of set readings on all coating heads, apart from continuous checks of thickness, width and weight throughout the process. Has perfect control system in all coating heads to increase or decrease the weight, thickness, speed and width during the production.
The work of inspection is done while the production process is simultaneously going on, by controlling the process of production with predefined process parameters. Inspection is done at various work centres of men and machines and at the critical production points. This had the advantage of preventing wastage of time and money on defective output and preventing delays in Production.
This is the last stage when finished material are inspected by experienced and trained technical team. This step consists various visual and physical testing procedure against our predefined specification and standard parameters to achieving the best output of our production to get customer satisfaction. Every lot is verified for physical parameters and whole material verified for visual appearance on inspection machines by trained workers and carried out before marketing to see that approved material dispatch to customer and poor quality product may be rejected.
